Up till Gethsemane Jesus displays confidence, authority, and fearlessness.
•Authoritatively casts out demons with a word.
•Boldly confronts hypocritical relig leaders.
•Fearlessly walks on water.
•Tenderly touches & heals people with leprosy.
But at Gethsemane on the eve of his crucifixion, he seems different. Why? Because he’s about to drink from a cup so we could drink from a different one.
